Due to the customized nature of web design and development projects, an initial deposit (typically 50%) is required before work commences. This deposit books our team's time and commits resources exclusively to your project. Therefore, initial deposits are non-refundable.
If a project is canceled by the Client before completion, StackVel Agency retains the initial deposit. If the value of the work already completed by our team (billed at our standard agency hourly-rate) exceeds the initial deposit, the Client will be invoiced for the remaining balance. Once paid, the Client will receive all work-in-progress materials developed up to the date of cancellation.
The remaining balance of a project is due upon approval of the final deliverables and before the website is deployed to the Client's production server or handed over. Once final payment is made and the website is delivered, no refunds will be issued.
For ongoing monthly retainers or website maintenance plans, subscriptions can be canceled at any time with a 15-day notice before the next billing cycle. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months of service if canceled mid-billing cycle.
StackVel reserves the right to issue refunds or negotiate alternative resolutions at our sole discretion on a case-by-case basis, generally reserved for extreme extenuating circumstances.
